What We Do At Your Event

Happy Hour perform at over 100 private events every year. We understand that entertainment is such an important part of your party which is why our aim is to make this part of your planning as easy and stress free as possible.

Standard Service

Our standard service includes all the essentials you'll need for an amazing party. It's designed to minimise costs by including everything you'll need for a 'normal' size corporate event or party.

  • Arrive from 6pm, setup by 7.30pm
  • Learn a song free of charge
  • Perform two sixty minute sets of live party music, finishing by midnight
  • Background music before, between and after out live sets up until midnight
  • Take HD photographs of your event and publish a free online photo album
  • Very high quality PA & lighting provided, suitable for audiences of up to 500 people


Additional Booking Options

We also offer the following additional upgrade options:

  • DJ service (run by a band member,free of charge)
  • After midnight finish
  • Pre-5.00pm early arrival fee
  • Sixty minute acoustic set during your drinks reception/meal

The Big Wedding Package

Book Happy Hour’s Big Wedding Package for the ultimate wedding party experience! 

What's included? 

- Happy Hour’s live performances (choose from 2 x 45 minutes, 2 x 60 minutes, 1 x 90 minutes or 3 x 40 minutes)
- DJ Service (includes manned laptop with vast amount of popular songs from all era’s)
- Photo Booth (Three hours hire with unlimited visits, message book, uniformed booth butler, online album plus an optional bespoke template)

What We'll Do At Your Event

Arrival, Set Up & Soundcheck

Upon arrival we'll liaise with the venue/event manager and load in, set up and sound check as quickly and as discretely as possible. This takes approximately 90 minutes, 30 minutes of which are for 'sound check' which involves us playing live, full volume, in order to balance the sound and get the best possible live sound in your specific venue.

We are happy to arrive and set up before your guests but we charge an early arrival fee per hour before 5pm if you've booked our standard service.

After Set Up

After we've set up and sound checked we will put background music on through our PA system and go to change into our stage clothes, and this is usually when we'll eat. You will need to arrange for the venue to provide us with a secure changing room (not the toilets), and your catering to provide us with a hot meal and soft drinks/tea/coffee. This is standard for all wedding/corporate/party bookings for any band. If we can't eat before the first set (EG: the event is behind schedule and we need to perform right away) - then we'll eat during our first break.

First Live Set

After our first live set, we'll take a break (usually around 45 minutes) and for weddings, this is the ideal time to serve the buffet. During this time we'll leave a play list of carefully chosen music running in the background through our PA system. If you choose our DJ upgrade option, a member of the band will run the DJ rig and be on hand to take requests and make announcements.

2nd Live Set & End Of The Night

After our second live performance, if we have finished before midnight, we will provide background music until midnight (unless you've selected a later finish upgrade). Only after our official contracted finish time will we pack our equipment down. We will do this as quickly and discretely as possible - which usually takes around 1 hour.
